Legion.

Friday, I went to see the movie "Legion" with Leon and Jennie. Please note at this time, that at first, it was a tossup as to what we were going to watch, cuz we didn't know what movies were out, and no one really had a preference at first, we just wanted to watch SOMETHING. When we were looking up movies that were available online, Leon saw the movie poster for legion, and got all excited so we decided to watch it.

Leon called up Jennie and told me that she got three tickets to amc-yonge/dundas.

All excited, i worked hard through my day and was thinking about how cool the Legion movie would be. After school, Leon and i made our way over to AMC, and gave Jennie a call to meet her, only to find that Leon, in his perpetual difficulty with the phone management had misinterpreted what he heard. Apparently "AMC" sounds like "Scotiabank" over the phone. Anyways, we booked it to the other theatre, just in time to get seats and watch the movie. They weren't amazing seats though. ( lol, Leon, you know i love you, i just tell it this way for the sake of a good story)

Now, up until i saw
the actual movie, i had been completely convinced that it would be incredibly awesome. Just look at the poster:
You can't blame me right? That poster makes the movie look so darn badass. It's a TOPLESS ANGEL EQUIPPED WITH A DAGGER AND SMG. How could that not make for a kickass movie?

So what i was expecting, since the movie is called LEGION, which implies rather large numbers... was armies of angels battling it out. It was a complete and utter let down. There were no armies, in fact, there was maybe ... two angels in the movie.

It was one of those movies, where you watch it, and you're almost sure that the creators realized halfway through that no one would take it seriously, and so they just injected more stupidity into it to make it funny. But it's just funny how bad it is. I guess it's comparable to snakes on a plane.

SO PLEASE. DO NOT PAY MONEY TO WATCH THIS MOVIE. You will only find yourself in a state of sadness afterwords and you will be overcome with regret.

What made it worthwhile for me was seeing Leon jump when little zombie kids started popping out. (I jumped too, but this is my post, not his) :D
